The short version
You email us. We use your message to reply. That’s it.
The Let’s talk button opens your email app. Your message is sent
directly to CX Advisory, rather than being collected through a
website form. We use it only to respond and continue the conversation
with you.
We do not sell your information, add you to a marketing list, use it
for advertising or make automated decisions about you. Our email
provider may process or hold your message for us.
Privacy can be complicated. Here it is, put simply.
Who we are
CX Advisory is the controller of the personal information you send
to us. For a privacy request, email
lets-talk@cxadvisory.co.uk
with “Privacy request” in the subject line.
What we collect and why
When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever
information you include in your message. We use it to review and
respond to your enquiry, keep a record of our correspondence and take
steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
You are not legally or contractually required to send us this
information. Please include enough information for us to understand
and respond to your enquiry.
Our lawful basis
We process enquiry information where it is necessary for our
legitimate interests in responding to prospective clients and running
our consultancy, or to take steps at your request before entering into
a contract. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing
without a separate lawful basis.
Who receives your information
Your information is accessible only to CX Advisory and the service
providers that deliver or store our email. We do not sell your
personal information. We may disclose it where the law requires us to
do so.
How long we keep it
We keep unsuccessful enquiry records for up to 12 months after our
last contact. If your enquiry leads to client work, relevant
correspondence may be kept for longer as part of our business and
legal records.
International transfers
Our email service providers may process information outside the UK.
Where this occurs, we use providers that put an appropriate UK data
transfer safeguard in place.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access,
correct or erase your information, restrict how it is used, object to
processing, or receive a portable copy. You can contact us using the
method above. You also have the right to complain to the Information
Commissioner’s Office at
ico.org.uk.
You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate
interests. Tell us if you want us to stop using your information on
that basis.
Cookies and automated decisions
This basic website does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and
we do not use enquiry information for automated decision-making or
profiling.
